Michael Brown - Owner

Michael Brown is a combat veteran of the Global War on Terrorism who has dedicated his life to service. After serving in the United States military, he continued that commitment in law enforcement, protecting and serving his community with integrity and discipline.

His path eventually led him into healthcare, where he discovered a deep passion for serving the elderly and those facing serious illness. Witnessing the unique needs of aging individuals and their families, Michael felt called to build something different—something rooted in compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence.

As Co-Owner of Headwaters Hospice and Palliative Care, Michael considers building the organization one of his greatest accomplishments. What began as a vision to provide dignified, first-class end-of-life care has grown into a team that touches lives in profoundly meaningful ways. Under his leadership, the organization has prioritized presence, communication, and honoring each patient’s story—serving families during some of life’s most sacred moments.

Michael’s personal mission is to continue growing Headwaters into the team people immediately think of as they and their loved ones age and seek specialty care. His goal is simple but powerful: to ensure that every family in the community has access to compassionate, high-quality in-home services delivered by a team that truly cares.
