Melinda Herron has dedicated nearly 20 years to caring for the elderly, answering her calling as a registered nurse with deep compassion and unwavering commitment. A Montanan through and through, Melinda was the very first nurse at Headwaters Hospice, believing in its vision from the very beginning. She played a pivotal role in shaping the organization, helping build a team that shares her dedication to excellence in end-of-life care.

As Director of Clinical Services, Melinda is passionate about training, mentoring, and elevating her teammates, ensuring that every patient receives the same level of care and respect that she would want for her own family. Her leadership and dedication to frontline healthcare have earned her national recognition as a 2024 Frontline Honors Award recipient, a testament to her impact on both her patients and her peers.

Beyond her work, Melinda is a devoted wife and mother who enjoys gardening, painting, and giving back to her community. She remains grateful for the opportunity to lead and support the incredible team at Headwaters, where she continues to make a meaningful difference every day.
